StepCut XL Cable Shears 95 12 225 SB; 95 12 225 SB KNIPEX StepCut XL With power joint, long handles, and optimized cutting edges: noticeably easier cutting than with compact cable shears. Enormous capacity: cuts solid copper or aluminum cables up to 35 mm², stranded cables up to 70 mm², and fine-stranded cables up to 120 mm². Two cutting areas: The stepped main cutting edge keeps smaller and larger cables as close to the joint as possible during cutting, while the front cutting edge is used for gradually cutting (nibbled) very large cables. Comfortable one-handed and two-handed operation, even with large cable diameters, thanks to the minimized handle width. Screwed power joint: high leverage, smooth-running, and adjustable. Slim head for better accessibility. Pinch protection for safe working. Not suitable for steel-reinforced cables, such as ACSR. Cutting edges are additionally laser-hardened, cutting edge hardness approx. 56 HRC. With comfort handles: made of three ergonomic components for optimized handling and with two KNIPEXtend interfaces for expansions.
