The PWM KN series from manufacturer Mean Well is a constant voltage mode output LED driver featuring Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) brightness control and the KNX interface to avoid using the complicated KNX-DALI gateway. There are a great number of options for adjusting the dimming process, e.g. dimming speeds, transition time, On-/Off- Behavior…. Scene function and different automatic functions are also available for the KNX interface.

The PWM Output EIB/KNX LED Driver PWM-120KN is a 120W AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant voltage mode with PWM style output, wich is able to maintain the colour temperature and the brightness homogeneity when driving all kinds of LED stripes and constant voltage LED bulbs. Due to the built-in KNX interface the usage of the complicated KNX-DALI gateway can be avoided.
The EIB/KNX LED Driver PWM-120KN operates from 90-305VAC and offers two models with output voltage 12V and 24V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 89% (with the fanless design), the entire series is able to operate for -35°C to +90°C case temperature under free air convection.
The minimal dimming level low to 0,01% is suitable for low light level applications e.g. cinemas. The output frequency is changeable up to 4kHz complaint IEEE1789-2015 no risk requirement and EU Ecodesign stroboscopic visibility measure (SVM) requirement, providing a great solution for health concern due to light flickering.
